Our planned performance at the CUNY Graduate Center has been canceled for reasons beyond our control, and not related in any way to the BAC. While this is a disappointment to those who were slated to perform, the cancellation will allow us to concentrate this Monday on our upcoming performance on the Northern Division jamboree. Even though the show was cancelled, our preparation for it provided the opportunity to review some polecats, songs that can be shared with society members anywhere in the world, and also to run through some repertoire songs that we didn't use in our show.

The message from Joe is that whatever we sing, old or new, it's our challenge to continually apply the things we've learned, so that every song is performed with our best effort.

BIG BUCKS RAFFLE POSTPONED

A combination of bad timing and insufficient preparation made it necessary to postpone the raffle. If you've sold some tickets, please return the money and let people know we'll do it another time.

BAC TO HEADLINE DIVISION JAMBOREE

Saturday May 6th, the BAC will lead off the jamboree following the Northern Division contest, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Brunswick.
We'll sing the Elvis package, and lead off the whole affair. It's an old showbiz canard that you should never go on stage after a dog act or a kid act. Saturday night we'll add the BAC to that list!

This performance is important in several ways:
1. As the premier chorus in the division, it's our obligation to contribute to this society event.
2. It's our last full dress rehearsal before going to Indianapolis 3. It's an opportunity to get our performance informally judged and evaluated 4. We get to perform, which is, after all, why we practice, right?
